Loudoun County [?] Where as complaint hath this day been me to one the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for the said County by George Lewis that John Ellis stands in debted to him in the sum of One pound Ten Shillings [?] and that he hath privately removed him self out of the said county or so absconds that the ordinary process of law cannot be served upon him. There are therefore in the name of the Commonwealth of Virginia to command you to attach so much of the estate of the said John Ellis as will be of value sufficient to satisfy the said sum of one pound ten shillings [?] and such Estate so attached the same in your hands you keep or otherwise to provide - that the same maybe liable for satisfying the debt aforesaid [?] Costs on further proceedings there on to be had at the next court to be - held for the above said county on the second May in June next when you are to make return how you have executed this warrent given under my hand this 30th day of May 1785.
