It is every way important that I see you when you pass thru town on your back to N. York. There are several things of vast important to attend to.
I this morning received a letter from Broderick. He wants the Secretary of the Treasury to act in his case. You know his great importance. Will you show this to the President & say to him that it is of a greater importance by far than he could imagine.
