Abstract

This video recording was digitized from a film documenting the College of William & Mary 1939 Homecoming Parade. The parade included marching bands, floats, cheerleaders, and other marchers, including students in costume as the characters from the Wizard of Oz. The film ends in the Sunken Garden where Homecoming attendees are gathered and appear to be eating. Total running time: 3:42. 16mm. Color, no audio. The film was digitized by the Safe Sound Archive in March 2011.
