Abstract: Thanks Jefferson and government for freeing daughter after six years of slavery in Tunis; Americans freed her; very grateful; asks second favor, to get the Bey of Tunis to return the value of jewelry and equipage to amount of about 2,000 Spanish piestos; seeks this small compensation because his house and fortune destroyed; offers his personal services to the United States.
