Abstract: | M. de Crevecoeur advised by Mr. Brown and [James] Madison that de Lormerie's deed to lands in Kentucky should be recorded in county there of General court office in Richmond; Breckinridge, Kentucky county surveyor, certified deed Feb. 7, 1788; Barber, agent for banks took up lands, but de Lormerie should have part of 20,000 acres left; M. Roberts proved deed authenticated before Prevost in Paris but not recorded in sufficient time. |
