Abstract:
|
Thanks Short for understanding and accomodating Jefferson's inability to make the first payment on Short's land; New payment arrangements have been made between the two of them and David Higginbotham, the purchaser of Short's land; glad to see "that the career of Bonaparte is at length arrested;" wishes too that the "tyrant of the ocean [George III?] is not also dismounted." |
