dc.description.abstract |
Reports on a disturbance at the University of Virginia in which 14 masked and intoxicated students disturbed the peace and insulted some professors who attempted to intervene; the Board of Visitors expelled three and punished the rest to a lesser degree, and order is restored; Jefferson considers the treatment of the Creeks and Cherokees by the Georgia government as "most scandalous." |
