Abstract: After bringing two thousand Acadians with their industry to Louisiana was made captain for 18 years without receiving promotion; has decided to profit from the cessation of Louisiana to the United States to renounce his service to the Spanish; will go to New Orleans and offer his services, zeal and knowledge to United States.
