Informs him that at 9:00 on Dec. 30, 1804, he discovered the principle of reaction and consequently of perpetual motion; as he must employ mechanics he fears losing his secret and thus his fame; if his machine fails he will inform him of his non-success; about next April will submit a model for his inspection. |
