Wrote to Jefferson because Jefferson is friends with Morgan's uncle Dr. Price; brought letters for Guy Jean Baptiste Target and Honoré Gabriel Riquetti, Comte de Mirabeau; his uncle and Lord Lansdowne want to know about "the state of things in this place" [Paris ?]; Dr. Price misses Jefferson; Morgan's friend, Mr. Dallas, alerted Morgan of the possibility that Jefferson would still be in Paris during Morgan's visit; hopes if Jefferson is not busy Morgan can see him; if not, Morgan will send any message from Jefferson to Dr. Price. |
