English journals indicate many Americans dissatisfied; self cannot get copy of Constitution; fears United States is federalistic state, his is centralistic; fears America may be destroyed by discontent; self would give dissatisfied persons jobs under his constitution, but no promise of successors; might even discontinue jobs; best way of dealing with them; applied to Mr. Coles to propose to libraries to translate and print his constitution in English; of much value. |
