Enclose a receipt of Madame du Tilleul for a box sent by Gouverneur Morris; offer their services to Jefferson on every occasion in Paris and America; this is possible because of their connections with the best houses in America; Madame du Tilleul requests to be told when Jefferson arrives; hope that he will arrive soon; offer Jefferson the same bed that Benjamin Franklin stayed in on his visit to Le Havre; requested that Gouverneur Morris also insist that Jefferson use this bed. |
