Abstract: His new system [stove] in satisfactory operation at City Hall; almost whole literary world against his idea of compressing fluid fire by multiplied passages in stoves; Mr. Dasheaff, the Russian minister, saw it; Mr. Fulton's examination inadequate and opinion prejudiced; General Dearborn inspected it for ship and camp cooking; sufficient clay near Oxford to produce them.
