Abstract: Sends him book by Shakers, recently reprinted here; manuscript of Defence, under signature of Scots correspondent, is in his handwriting; comprised 19 columns in Examiner; writing known only to James Thomson Callender, with whom he finally broke; mentions relative George Richardson in Kentucky and family in Jamaica, South Carolina and Georgia.
