dc.description.abstract Wrote last February; has not received expected introductory letters from Mr. Monroe and Gen. Wm. Lyman of London; denies report that he is British spy; renews request for a place for himself and son when Floridas are in possession of Congress; hopes Jefferson will accept a third term; Samuel Harrison, wrongly implicated as a spy, may be elected representative of Congress from Congress from Vermont in place of Mr. Olin who intends to resign; Rev. Mr. Patterson of Annapolis and tutor in College of William and Mary was totally blind last July in London; Jefferson's perfect neglect of self and son will never cause him to dislike him. en_US
