William Stephens Smith if he comes to Paris; Jefferson failed to see Mount Cenis; observations on sculpture, painting, architecture; language; Provencale compared to Tuscan, Parisian French, Spanish; attended a benefit program in which a famous actress performed in the style of Madame Louise Dugazon but more young and attractive and better skilled; his daughter's health; regards to friends; Marquis and Marquise de Lafayette, Philip Mazzei, Chevalier de Pio, and Michel Guillaume St. John de Crévecoeur.
