dc.description.abstract Encloses a letter from Lafayette ; he will not come to this country until his wife's health improves; also sends him a letter of madame de Stael; she has sent Jefferson a book but it is in a trunk which has not yet arrived; has given the news from France to Madison who will communicate it to Jefferson; also encloses the dispatches from General Armstrong; is sending a case of books given him for Jefferson by M. Dupont; tells Jefferson that he is staying at Tench Coxe's in Philadelphia. en_US
