Abstract: Reports that the Herald brings news that [the barn burners?] have been been defeated.; he hears that the Tammany Hall was a "Tyler affair," but he did not receive an invitation; would like him to make an inquiry about it; asks again if Beeman has been removed; believes that all the men connected with him are in Washington. Autograph Letter Signed.
