Printed order of the 'Junta de Obras y Bosque' (Works and Forestry Board), issued in Madrid on 14 April, 1761, by D. Pedro Manuel de Vera, the secretary of the Board and then by Don Juan Phelipe de Castanos, Zaragoza, on 1 May, 1761. Explains that, beginning 16 January 1761, hunting using greyhound dogs would be prohibited unless a licensed by the Board. Licensing conditions depended on profession, status and the total number of dogs in the villages. The order was supposed to be distributed to the mayors. |
