Abstract: George Hay, "Oak Hill," Loudon Co., Va., to Lloyd Nicholas Rogers, Baltimore, Md. Comments on misfortune which befell his LNR son; tells of Mrs. Hay's concern about her daughter travelling so much; notes that Mr. Monroe is quite feeble; Mr's. Ringgold, Swann, C.F. Mercer, and Henderson have visited. 3 pages. Autograph letter signed, including complete wax seal of the Hay family crest (cracked).
