dc.description.abstract Discussion of family matter at home, including the loss of Nan's baby, bills of exchange left by Mr. Keys, and of the children being sick; prediction of an attack being made near Alexandria, Va. soon; describes having tea with Lord Dunmore, General Henry Clinton, Commodore Andrew Snape Hammond sic Hamond, and Richard Corbin on board the warship Roebuck during a truce, and difficulty traveling.
