Abstract: Hans von Baeyer is Chancellor Professor of Physics, Emeritus, at the College of William & Mary. In this interview conducted by David Pratt, von Baeyer relates his memories dating from his early years at the College, beginning in 1968. He also relates the history of his central involvement in the effort to bring the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facililty (JLab) to Newport News, and speaks about his later career as an author of books on science for the general public.
