This interview was conducted as part of the College of William and Mary Oral History Project. Having come to William and Mary in 1945, Mr. Phelps has been on the law faculty (at first the department of juris prudence) longer that anyone in Williamsburg. At one time dean of the law school, he has observed its modern growth and tells of this in his interview. |
