dc.description.abstract This interview was conducted as part of the College of William and Mary Oral History Project. Howard Scammon arrived at William and Mary in 1929. He was a student of long-time theatre director, Althea Hunt. In 1947 he returned to William and Mary to assist in the production of The Common Glory, an eighteenth-century play. He became director of William and Mary Theatre. en_US
