dc.description.abstract This interview was conducted as part of the College of William and Mary Oral History Project. Charlie McCurdy graduated from William and Mary in 1933. In 1937, he became executive secretary of the Alumni Association, in charge of publishing the Alumni Gazette, fund-raising, and homecoming planning. In a 1951 dispute with the Board of Directors he resigned but at the time of this interview he was the national chairman of the William and Mary Fund. Mr. McCurdy died in 1987. en_US
