This interview was conducted as part of the College of William and Mary Oral History Project. Entering William and Mary in 1919, Vernon Nunn was one of the World War I veterans coming that year. He later reentered and graduated in 1925. After teaching and taking graduate work, Mr. Nunn came back to Williamsburg and in 1930 was hired by President J.A.C. Chandler as assistant treasurer.
