dc.description.abstract |
This interview was conducted as part of the College of William and Mary Oral History Project. Bishop Bentley attended William and Mary for one year prior to World War I and for a short time afterward. He maintained an interest in the college and was honored with the Alumni Medallion. He served as an assistant to Dr. W.A.R. Goodwin at Bruton Parish Church in the 1920s, went to Alaska as a missionary, becoming suffragan bishop then bishop of Alaska. |
