dc.description.abstract |
This interview was conducted as part of the College of William and Mary Oral History Project. Lewis Webb spent his career at Old Dominion University. When he joined the faculty there in the early 1930s as a physics professor it was a small, struggling branch of William and Mary and was known as the Norfolk Division. The relationship with the college at Williamsburg during his tenure as a faculty member and head of the Norfolk institution from 1947 to 1969 are described here. |
