Alyce Willis Oral History Interview

Abstract: Alyce Willis is an Honorary Alumna of the College of William and Mary, and the wife of Hulon Willis, the first African-American student to attend the College."Stony the Road We Trod" was an independent study project conducted by College of William and Mary student Jenay Jackson (class of 2005) in 2005. This oral history project was intended to serve as the initial part of an ongoing project to document African American history at the College of William and Mary. Ms. Jackson interviewed College administrators, faculty, and alumni.
