Mitzi Glass was class of 1981 at the College of William and Mary. During her time at the College, Mitzi was a member of the Black Student Organization, Director of the choral group Ebony Expressions, and the first initiate into the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
The audio of the Mitzi Glass interview also contains the audio to the oral history of Tunisia Riley. "Stony the Road We Trod" was an independent study project conducted by College of William and Mary student Jenay Jackson (class of 2005) in 2005. This oral history project was intended to serve as the initial part of an ongoing project to document African American history at the College of William and Mary. Ms. Jackson interviewed College administrators, faculty, and alumni. |
